Home Economics

Any useful economic system must have its basis in the economics of a home, where people live together and take care of most of their needs.

Economics originally meant just this.

The question becomes what can people in their homes: produce, distribute, and consume? And further, how circular or self contained can this be. Additional questions include: just how far afield must a household go to complete its economy, what tools are needed for home economics to work well enough, e.g. medium of exchange, source of loans and/or equity, insurance
