Let's explore Anthony Friend's three concentric circles: ecology, society, economy and the interrelations between them.

Our class will survey potential currency projects. Our work will be public. If we are successful enough, we will not have to do "the project" because we have found one to use.

We will engage with the question of values of currencies in a facilitative ways. I don't see us inviting Bitcoin experts. But the students may change that bias. People who think that return to the goals standard tend to be the folks that are interested in Bitcoin.

Is it possible that local currencies simply prime the rusty pump of local cooperation and helping neighbors and becomes less used for binary helping and is only used for the three body problem.
